The Photographer

You don’t need to perform.

Most couples tell me they forget I’m even there. That’s when the best photos happen. Not in the poses themselves necessarily, often the moments in-between.

Light matters. Feeling matters more.

I’ll set the light, find the lines, and give you cues that feel more like company than direction. A way to walk. Something to whisper. The photo is the one right after.

It’s about the people, always.

I’m not interested in making your wedding look like everyone else’s. The most beautiful you can be on your wedding day, is being lost in that feeling with the person you love. That’s what I want you to always remember.

Film For Every Wedding

Three cameras at every wedding. One is my 35mm film camera.

Film is a physical artifact.

A physical impression of light from a scene from your wedding day.

The film negative is a piece of the day itself, the same way a centrepiece or a pressed bouquet is.

The photograph that comes out of it carries something a digital file doesn't.

Film results are ready as early as one week later.
